Powered by the latest 12th generation Intel® Core™ processors and Windows 11 Pro, the Portégé X40 is faster than ever. It offers up to 32GB DDR4 memory, configurable in two slots for excellent Intel® Iris®Xe graphics performance, and its capability is further boosted with SSD options up to 1TB, using the latest Gen 4 standard for faster transfer speeds. The slim and light chassis houses an expertly engineered cooling system, using exceptionally quiet twin fans plus a rubber foot mounted on the exterior to separate warm and cool air, ensuring tasks and communications go uninterrupted regardless of workload.

Uncompromising Connectivity

The Portégé X40 features a host of ultra-fast connectivity options, including the latest Intel® AX211 2x2 Wi-Fi 6E technology and Bluetooth 5.2, making it ready for the rigours of hybrid working. It's also equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, USB-A 3.2 ports, LAN and a Micro SD slot, enabling workers to connect to everything they need to display, charge and transfer data simultaneously. A separate AC power socket provides a secondary means of charging, allowing both Thunderbolt 4 ports to be used with total freedom. All this capability doesn't compromise battery life, either - its 53Wh battery delivers up to 9.5 hours' use on a charge*, and recharges to 40% capacity in just 30 minutes.

Video conferencing on the Portégé X40 is the next best thing to seeing colleagues face-to-face. Its Realtek AI* audio solution provides noise reduction, muting specific background noises while the user remains perfectly audible. Meanwhile, its AI camera* provides lighting correction and face framing to deliver a clear and crisp video experience. Workers can keep their surroundings private with a range of platform-independent, smart background concealment options - and because these enhancements take place at camera-level, privacy is maintained no matter what application is used. When there is the opportunity for a meeting in-person, the X40’s 180-degree opening angle allows users to share information with their co-workers effortlessly.

The Portégé X40 boasts impressive design features without compromising on performance. Its aluminium chassis strikes the perfect balance between quality and affordability, with a honed Dark Tech Blue finish, embossed matt silver Dynabook logo and diamond-cut framing on the lid and touch pad providing a sophisticated look and feel. Nevertheless at only 17.9mm thick and starting from just 1.46kg in weight, this ultra-slim and easy-to-hold device is built for portability.
